Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension Model

Our in vitro pulmonary arterial hypertension model is a one-of-a-kind model where we are developing a platform that allows assaying for arterial pressure, the key endpoint that makes animal models the gold standard for PH drug testing. It incorporates all three key players in the arterial microvessels including microvascular endothelial cells, smooth muscle cells and stromal origin cells and hence enables testing single and multi-pronged approaches at tackling this disease. By providing a platform more representative of human physiology we seek to accelerate drug testing and foster advancements in PAH therapeutics.
